Technicolor Post Award deadline is October 18th!

TECHNICOLOR POST JOY AWARD for filmmakers is accepting applications.

Deadline: October 18th, 5PM.

The Technicolor Post Joy Award is new for 2013. It provides a filmmaker with post-production support for their winning project. The project may be at any stage of production prior to post-production, but must be completed within one year.
 
This Award provides $2,500 in lab, audio or video services from Technicolor to the successful applicant.

Atlantic region animators and experimental filmmakers are advised that the 2013 deadline for the Helen Hill Animated Joy Award is extended!

Filmmakers, animators and media artists are invited to apply for the annual Helen Hill Animated Joy Award. The winner will be announced at the Silver Wave Film Festival, November 7-10, 2013.
The Award was established in memory of Helen Hill, an artist, animator and experimental filmmaker who was influential in the Atlantic community in the late 1990s. Helen passed away in 2007. More information about Helen and her work or the Joy Awards can be found at lindajoy.com.
The annual Award provides service and material support to the winning filmmaker and includes:
$2000 in equipment and facility access plus $500 in film stock* from the Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative (for NS resident).
$1000 in equipment and edit suite access, plus $100 mentoring support from the Centre For Art Tapes.
$1000 in equipment and facility access from the New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Cooperative (for NB resident).

The Award now includes:

$10,000 in equipment resources from Equifilm.
$7,500 in HD Video Finishing and Audio Mixing from The PostMan Post-Production Studio.
$7,500 in post services from CinemaTick and Insurmountable Sounds.
$5,500 in equipment or facilities from the New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Co-operative.
$1000 cash from New Brunswick Filmmakers’ Co-operative.
$1,000 in film stock from Kodak Canada Inc.
